Removing hair extensions?

Is there anything you can get to help you remove glued in hair extension tracks? I usually pull mine out when I wash my hair but I don't want to snap my real hair! :(

Thanks! xRemoving hair extensions?
You can use anything oil based. You don't need anything expensive, I've used all sorts. I have even used cooking oil once! Just apply some oil to the glue, wait a bit and then it will slide out. If it doesn't slide out, use a bit more oil. Make sure you have a fine toothed comb as well to comb through your hair to make sure no glue is left in once you have removed the tracks.Removing hair extensions?
they sell special glue removers specific to the glue that you used, if you go back to the shop that sold you them and ask im sure they will be able to help you out. the glue removers soften the glue and help you pull it out easily. You could also try warming the glue and the tracks with your straightners as this weakens it and makes it easier to pull out, it does leve you with alot of glue in your hair tho.
Saturate you hair in a mixture of warm olive oil and water. Let it sit for a while and the tracks should just slide right out with a little tug. If a track appears to be a bit difficult, just apply more oil and work it out with your fingers.
